Committee Member Travel Reimbursement Policy

APO has decided to suspend the Thesis Committee Member Travel Reimbursement policy during 2026.

This decision was made with an eye toward cutting expenses while prioritizing the commitment to 5 years of student support (top priority) as well as maintaining support for student travel to conferences. Later in 2026, we will evaluate whether the policy can be reinstated.

Reimbursement is still available for transportation costs for JP faculty between MIT and WHOI.
