Child Care Subsidy

WHOI Child Care Subsidy Policy

Joint Program students are eligible to participate in WHOI’s Child Care Subsidy program provided through the Academic Programs Office.  Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine if childcare at MIT or WHOI is more appropriate.

Specific information about this plan and forms can be found on the Human Resources website.  To qualify for this benefit, the student must meet the following criteria:

  • Be in residence at WHOI
  • Dependent child(ren) must be under age 13 or a legal dependent of any age

Please note a new enrollment form must be submitted during WHOI's Open Enrollment season each year.
