How did we get here? Before tackling what future climate will look like, we have very little data that actually tells us how the ocean came to be the way it is. I work to fill this knowledge gap.
My interests are in submarine hydrothermal vents – what controls their geologic setting, what impacts they have on ocean biogeochemistry, & whether they can occur in other oceans beyond Earth.
